This was at the Camas Creek Canter 50 mile Endurance Ride. It was supposed to be a 20 mile loop but I took a wrong turn so it has an extra 8 miles – DO NOT USE THIS FILE AS TRACKS FOR THIS RIDE!! 🙂 Note the slow speed – Rosie had a foot issue so I was off and walking for a good amount of time.

Me on Rosie and Delmer on our new horse Willow. This was about Willow’s fifth ride ever and her first public outing. She was an awesome girl.

Awesome ride to the top of the mountain at Mill Creek. Kept a good pace with a significant amount of elevation gain. Jeep track that you can really motor on.

Hi – I very much enjoyed reading your site. thank you for all the information you have provided. Can you please tell me which Garmin GPS device you are using? and any insight as to why you like it or don’t. Thanks! Karolina

I am using the Garmin Colorado 300. I like it a lot but it’s the only one I’ve used so can’t really compare it to any others. The screen can sometimes be difficult to see in certain light. I had to figure out a good way to carry it since if it bounced too much it would shut off. I now carry it in a chest pack where it’s easy to access and not slamming against the saddle.
